LIVING PROOFS

Daniel 3: 19-25 ;  6:10-21 ; Deuteronomy 29: 4-5

And I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not worn out on your feet.

Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever!  My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.

Time after time people have questioned the boundaries of God’s power, and the reality of His existence. The finite human mind at one point or the other has failed to comprehend the totality of God’s abilities – His ability to create, heal, save, provide, protect, keep, sustain, restore, comfort, deliver, etc. A sure way to debug these doubts is to look at living proofs!

The world is full of people who are sustained miraculously, healed supernaturally, protected divinely, and delivered ultimately – all by God’s power. The fact that we do not realize it, does not mean we should question it.  Speaking specifically, my family is a living proof of God’s existence – none of us should be alive today if not for God’s protection, deliverance, healing, and providence.

God has so kept us that you cannot tell what we’ve been through because we don’t look like it! We are beneficiaries of God’s goodness! Looking at my family, I am often reminded of the three Hebrew children who came out of the fiery furnace without the smell of smoke on them; or Daniel who was preserved from the hungry lions.

The Bible also records that the children of Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness, but their clothes (or shoes) did not wear out; neither did they go hungry for one day! These are all living proofs of God’s existence and power.

The Bible mentions that the heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork. So even nature on its own testifies of God’s creative miracles and infinite power.

Speaking of testimonies, this article would not contain mine if I were to tell it. But the summary of it is that my family is living proof of God’s power and abilities – if you disbelieve God’s ability to heal, I have many testimonies to that effect. If you question His power to protect, I can tell you many times we would have been dead had it not been for God. If you doubt God’s power to provide, I can recount many supernatural provisions from God.

The truth is that we are all living proofs of God’s power and might, whether we realize it or not.
