Failed At Execution!

Job 5: 12; Psalm 2: 4

The dictionary defines the word execution as the act of carrying out a plan, or putting into effect an order, or cause of action. The concept of execution is common to all and sundry – at different times, we have made plans and carried it out; and are therefore quite familiar with this subject. However, let us take a closer look at the requirements for execution to occur.

Prior to execution, there are certain things that must be in place. Let me explain this by discussing a simple/logical model that has found its application in all sectors of life – this is the model of analysis, design, development, and execution. This model has been used in many projects, across various disciplines (Project Management, Instructional Designs, Engineering, Health Management, etc.) to achieve an aim or goal.

Ok, let us bring it home to what this article is all about. Just recently I received an incredible insight as it relates to the devil’s attacks on us with regards to this model. The devil fights us constantly, and he is strategic in each of his attacks. As a matter of fact, the devil engages this model for each of his onslaughts, and come up with a plan to attack any aspect of our lives – that is, he analysis the situation, designs a method, develops a battle plan (which includes deploying his troops), prior to execution.

However, the insight God is giving here is that the devil always fails at execution – that is when it comes to executing his plans against us, God causes him to fail woefully! And this is why we are still alive, because the devil keeps failing at execution!

God would not stop the devil from planning; he can plot and plan all he wants, but God waits for him at the execution stage. The Bible says he will not be able to carry out his plans (Job 5: 12). And so we see the devil failing over and over concerning us – his failure is certain, and our victory is assured in Jesus name!

Hallelujah!
