Psalm 91: 31; Psalm 121: 4
These unprecedented times of COVID-19 have ushered in an increased height of fear in the hearts of many. With every passing day, there is a rising level of terror, agitation, panic, anxiety, worry, pain, depression, and distress, as this catastrophic disaster continues to raid human lives all over the globe!
In times like this, may we take comfort in the fact that God is still on the throne; and HE is in control of this situation! We can take solace in His promises, covering in His blood, and protection in His name. Furthermore, we can trust HIS faithfulness and sovereignty – because HE that keeps Israel (us) never sleeps nor slumbers!
God’s promise of protection is summarized in Psalms 91. Verse 3 mentions that HE will deliver us from the deadly pestilence. The word pestilence refers to diseases, or plagues that often reach epidemic proportions! That sounds very much like COVID-19 to me. But the point here is that God has promised to save and deliver us!
This promise was somewhat reiterated in verse 5 (just in case we missed it earlier, or still have doubts) – It says we should not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday (NIV). What an assurance of deliverance to those who will believe HIS promises!
So whenever you are tempted to fear, or overwhelmed by the present COVID-19 situation, choose to stand on God’s promises. In addition, let the prayer below be your succor – pray it over your life and that of your family every day. You are exempted from all evil in Jesus’ name! Amen.
This is my prayer and declaration over you this day.
It is well with you and your family.
I decree and declare over you and your family – in The Name above all names – all your bodies are dedicated and consecrated to God.
Your bodies automatically reject any virus – COVID 19 or otherwise.
Instead of becoming host to any virus from the pits of hell, your bodies are permanently hostile to any and all such deadly viruses.
Any virus that comes near you or anyone around you dies – instantly!
If any of you come in contact with any infected carrier, because of you, that carrier becomes instantly healed – their viral load instantly becomes zero.
As the shadow of the apostles walking by brought healing in Bible times, your presence in any physical space kills all resident viruses – instantly!
In The Name above all names – The Name of The Lord of Hosts – The Name of Jesus.
