For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise, also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
The moral degradation eating into the fabric of our society today is alarming! Immoral practices once beyond the realm of our imagination are now the order of the day; even more disconcerting, it’s getting worse.
You don’t need to look far; it is everywhere – in the news, in the media, in books, it is pervasive! It is even more appalling to note the general undertone of acceptance from people, organizations, or institutions that seem to endorse such malpractices. General public, law makers, and governing bodies passionately embrace (and openly speak favorably about) these declining moral standards of the day.
It scarcely makes sense that such practices should exist. How could two people of the same gender live together as spouses? The voice of nature, and specifically reproduction, even speaks against this act. Secondly, why should an individual dress/look like the opposite gender? Have you ever looked at a person and been unable to tell what gender they belong to? It’s mind boggling and brain rattling. This new definition of insanity suggests a depraved mentality to God’s ways and standards!
The confusion arising from such practices has reached a gregarious state! Many times, these acts are explained away or minimized using the term ‘freedom of human rights’; but this particular freedom is beckoning on crises! The end result of these acts have far reaching consequences – beyond what we bargained for, or are able to deal with in the near future!
This madness has to stop! It almost seems the pot of our moral standards has tipped over, and the content is spilling out at a fast rate; when this pot becomes fully empty. I wonder what will become of the next generation, and many more down the line?
