Mark 12: 30
30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’[a] This is the first commandment.
I have found a higher purpose that transcends the realities of this world
I have found a higher purpose, far beyond the hustle and bustle of life
I have found a higher purpose, higher than the greatest clarion call of all
I have found a higher purpose that’s deeper than the noblest cause.
I have found a greater purpose that’s much more precious than gold
I have found a greater purpose which money of any currency cannot afford
I have found a greater purpose that excites the humblest mind of man
I have found a greater purpose that thrills the very heart of God
This purpose is more valuable than the richest of diamonds
This purpose is more precious than the purest gold
This purpose is more beautiful than the finest silver
This purpose is more adorable than the brightest of pearls
It’s the ‘praise’ of The Almighty, the Most High God
It’s ‘worship’ in the court of my King, the only true God
It’s the ‘love’ of an unseen Deity, the ruler of the universe
It’s the ‘service’ of His Majesty, The One enthroned on high
It’s a deeper purpose – a ‘passion’ for His work
It’s a deeper purpose – a ‘desire’ for His ways
It’s a deeper purpose – an ‘interest’ in His things
It’s a deeper purpose – the ‘seeking’ of His will
It’s a deeper purpose – a ‘longing’ for His presence
It’s a deeper purpose – a ‘yearning’ for His fellowship
Truly I have found a divine purpose and it suffices my soul to stay in this pursuit.
What about you?
