GOD WILL MAKE A WAY

I Corinthians 10:13

13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Life is full of ups and downs. There are trials, hardship, challenges, and many bumps on the road. They come in different magnitudes and varying levels of intensity; and no matter how little or great, they are inevitable in life.

The Bible gives an account of the Israelites at the Red Sea (Exodus 13:17 – 14:29) – this was one of the challenging times of their lives. They were boxed in; the Egyptians at the back, mountains on both sides, and the Red Sea in front. It would seem the only thing certain at this time was imminent death! What a scary moment! But thank God for Moses who dared ask for a way of escape, and sure, God did make a way!

Are you feeling boxed in by the troubles of life? Do you feel trapped by the uncertainties of tomorrow? Is disaster staring you in the face? The ‘Egyptians’ are closing in, the mountains remain firmly unmoved, and the ‘Red Sea’ is threatening in front of you with its proud waves.

Friends, do not be afraid, do not panic; the winds and waves still know the voice of HIM who ruled them when He calmed the storm & waves here below. The storm is still subject to HIS command; the ‘Egyptians’ are not a match for HIM either.

God always has a way out. If you would call on HIM like Moses, HE will show up in your storm. HE is the Way Maker, the Silencer, the Miracle Worker, and our Fortress. Stretch out your faith towards the Red Sea, for God will make a way!
